So after waiting a solid 15 weeks to finally tell my family about the pregnancy, i mustered up the courage and it went alot better then i ever expected. which i'm happy i did because i was going to wait till me and OH were supposed to be going home to visit (home is 900 miles away). but the day before we were scheduled to leave, the army decided to tell him he wasnt approved for leave. (BULL)
the whole time we had planned to go, i always had this feeling he didnt want to. (back story) in june we were supposed to go visit his mother and sisters who leave 12 hours south of us, and not where my family is. and a few days before we left his mom told him i wasnt welcome in her house, so we didnt go.
he's VERY attached to his mother, he calls her about everything. i didnt mind for awhile until i realized how bad it was. he calls her everytime we fight to bitch about it. and in turn it has made her hate me. i cant say i blame her, but at the same time, he tells her his side of every story, which is usually "i didnt do anything shes crazy waah wahh waaah" so his mom thinks i'm some crazy bitch, which really...i'm not. and she KNOWS how he is, why take his side without even talking to me? his family used to LOVE ME.
so anyway, a few weeks ago he literally woke me up at 4am to fight with me, all i wanted to do was sleep, i wasnt arguing, i wasnt fighting, i wasnt saying or doing anything, i was ignoring him completely. what does he do? calls mom.
but its 5am by her, and shes asleep, so he calls his sister and doesnt stop calling until she answers and tells her to wake up their mother.
so he crys to her and blah blah. fights over by the time he gets home from work, however his sister is pissed. (at ME!!!!!) she literally googled my PARENTS home address and sent me a text message with it saying "haha bitch, i know where you live" she continued with "let me find out your lying about being pregnant and see what happens" and "watch who you say haha too because i'll be the one with the last laugh"
the harassing texts continue until OH finally has her number blocked from my phone. so she starts on fb. i blocked her, so she trys my mom, she cant message my mom, so she messages my 18 YEAR OLD LITTLE SISTER!!!!!

so he has a "talk" with his mom and his other sister who is FUMING about her doing this to me. but nothing comes of it. he still talks to her like its nothing and acts like it never happened.
so anyway, my mom wanted us to come home end of august, and now that she knows ab bubs she wants to throw a baby shower, with his family (that lives out by home) and mine. trying to organize that in 3 weeks is impossible so we settled on october being a great time for it. i was talking to OH about it, and jokingly said "you know men arent invited to these right?!" because MOST of the time, men dont want to, or only women are invited. OBVIOUSLY hes coming to ours, i was just messing, but he got all serious and said "fine ill have my own, i'll go smoke cigars and get drunk" -whatever.
i mentioned how my mom wanted to extend the invitation to his mother down south, even though she figured she wouldnt make the trip, but felt rude just not inviting her. and he said she wont come we'll have another shower down by her.
so i said with who? i have some family there, but not enough to have a "shower" with. its just my dads sister and all her kids, and i really dont talk to them much. maybe go for a nice dinner, but not have a party. and then his mom and two sisters. also, where would we stay? im not welcome in their house apparently, and you couldnt pay me to stay anywhere near the girl who wanted to threaten my life, and say all those things.
his other sister is a sweetheart, and his mom....well i guess shes getting over things about me, and his thrilled to be having a grandchild, but that doesnt change things with his other sister. and i wont make myself that uncomfortable. she was rude to me the first time we stayed there and she had never even met me yet, and this was when we had only been together a few months and were still honeymooners.
i just dont know what to do. i feel bad because its his family and i want them to be involved, after all i didnt make this baby by myself.
but i really dont have any strength to even go down by them and stay in a hotel and still have to see her. just thinking about her makes me want to cry.

The engine provides most of the propulsion, with supplementary energy from the electric motor enhancing start-off performance and the demands of acceleration and overtaking. When driving speed is low and steady, the engine stops and the vehicle moves to EV mode, powered solely by the electric motor. There are no CO2 emissions while in EV mode. During braking, the engine stops as braking energy is dynamically converted into electric power, then stored in the hybrid battery for future use. When the vehicle is stationary, the engine and electric motor automatically switch to standby in idling stop to reduce fuel consumption. The Honda Jazz Hybrid's IMA technology delivers fuel consumption of 21.3 kilometers per liter (or 4.7 liter/100 kilometer) and reduces CO2 emissions to 110 grams per kilometer, according to Honda's internal tests.
The Honda Jazz Hybrid's key features include a stylish new front grille, innovative blue headlights and tail lamps with chrome accents available only on the hybrid model, 15" Max-alloy wheels, automatic air conditioning, an Econ-Meter and instruments that show charging and power enhancement generated by the electric motor. Other key features include audio system controls on the steering wheel, an audio module with USB and AUX connectivity, a storage box beneath the rear seat, a multi-purpose storage area in the middle console, a spacious cargo area and fully adjustable seating. AMSTERDAM (AP) ? Two Western photojournalists in Syria were held captive for a week by Islamic militants before being rescued by Syrian rebels, one of the men said Friday.
Jeroen Oerlemans, a prominent Dutch photographer, told Business News Radio of the Netherlands that he is not sure which group held him and John Cantlie of Britain, but said he is sure they were not Syrian.
"They all claimed they came from countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh and Chechnya, and they said there was some vague 'emir' at the head of the group," he said in a seven-minute interview from Turkey, where the men were resting after their ordeal. Oerlemans was also recovering from two gunshot wounds suffered during an escape attempt.
His account would seem to add weight to reports that foreign Islamic fighters are going into Syria to support the rebel side.
The Associated Press could not reach the men, who were expected to return home within days, for more details of their ordeal.
Oerlemans told Business News Radio that he and Cantlie entered Syria on July 19, and were captured almost immediately.
"You go with a donkey caravan over the border," he said. "It went left, we went right and walked into a camp of 20 tents and in no time we had a circle of men around us with Kalashnikovs and we were taken captive."
The militants accused the men of working for the CIA and took their equipment and documents, he said.
Oerlemans said it soon became clear that their captors planned to seek ransom, so the photographers tried to escape. They were quickly intercepted and Oerlemans was shot in the foot and thigh, he said. His captors bandaged his wounds but kept the two men handcuffed and blindfolded after that, he said.
"I was wounded, but the bullets missed all the vital parts, and I'm frisky as a puppy and enormously happy that I've survived it all, that it ended well," he said.
On Friday morning they were told they would be moved to another location when a group of Syrian rebels stormed the tent and put the photographers in trucks.
Suddenly four soldiers from the Syrian Free Army entered the camp and asked them how long they had been held.
"They took us with them like a bunch of gangsters," Oerlemans was quoted in a separate interview with NRC Handelsblad. "Shooting in the air we rode out of there."
Uri Rosenthal, the Netherlands' foreign minister, said Dutch diplomats were traveling to Oerlemans to help him get home. The British Foreign Office cited privacy concerns in not commenting.
Oerlemans is well-known in the Netherlands, having won two national photography awards.
Cantlie's LinkedIn page describes him as a freelance journalist and photographer with 20 years' experience in "hostile environment reportage." It says his clients have included British newspapers such as The Sunday Times, The Sunday Telegraph and The Sun; GQ and FHM magazines; and the BBC.

ScienceDaily (July 26, 2012) ? The secret to the deadly 2011 E. coli outbreak in Germany has been decoded, thanks to research conducted at Michigan State University.
The deadliest E. coli outbreak ever, which caused 54 deaths and sickened more than 3,800 people, was traced to a particularly virulent strain that researchers had never seen in an outbreak before. In the current issue of the academic journal PLoS ONE, a team of researchers led by Shannon Manning, MSU molecular biologist and epidemiologist, suggests a way to potentially tame the killer bacteria.
The strain, E. coli O104:H4, shares some characteristics as other deadly E. coli bacteria, but its combination is novel. Researchers haven't determined the mechanism it uses to cause disease, although Manning and her team were able to find the strain's Achilles heel ?- its biofilm.
By focusing on the bacteria's biofilm, the grouping of many E. coli bacteria that stick to a cell's surface and grow encased in a self-produced protective coat, Manning and colleagues were able to determine why it was so deadly. When the bacterium found in Germany forms a biofilm, it begins to make more toxic genes like the Shiga toxin.
Increased production of the Shiga toxin is the probable culprit that contributed to so many incidents of kidney damage and death during the 2011 outbreak, Manning said.
"What made the German outbreak so different is that many victims suffering from kidney failure were adults," she said. "Rather than attacking adults, other types of E. coli that produce Shiga toxins typically damage kidneys of children under 10."
In addition, the incubation period was considerably longer among individuals infected with the German outbreak strain compared to individuals infected with E. coli O157, a similar bacterium that can also cause illness and death. Manning believes this is because the German strain needs a longer period of time to form a biofilm, whereas biofilms are not important for O157 infections.
"Our research demonstrates that biofilm formation is critical for toxin production and kidney damage," she said. "If we can block the bacteria from forming a stable biofilm, then it is likely that we can prevent future E. coli O104:H4 infections."
The next phase of Manning's research is already focusing on creating mutant strains in an effort to prevent the bacterium from forming a biofilm. This would prevent the disease completely since the conditions would not be favorable for bacterial growth.
Chris Waters, MSU assistant professor of microbiology and molecular genetics, and scientists from the University of Michigan and the Michigan Department of Community Health contributed to the research.

To help older adults deal with one of the most difficult aspects of aging ? loss ? Rabbi Avrohom Marmorstein recently hosted an educational seminar entitled ?Coping with Loss and Grief? at The Allendale Community for Mature Living. A member of the Pastoral Care Department at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC), the Rabbi addressed the various forms of loss as well as steps for overcoming them.
Seniors experience losses of all types, according to Rabbi Marmorstein. These include the death of a spouse, family member or friend; cognitive deterioration of loved ones; decreased involvement in a neighborhood or civic organization; revocation of driving privileges; or even the closing of a favorite store.
?Independence and loss are intertwined for older adults. While their reaction to the loss of a loved one may be less extreme, because they accept the natural order of life, the loss of driving evokes a much stronger response,? he said. ?Coping strategies are not a ?one-size-fits-all? solution. The best approach, however, is to view change as an adventure in the next phase of living.?
The most important thing is to ?put one foot in front of the other and move forward,? according to the Rabbi. To attain this goal, he encourages seniors to self-nurture by nourishing their minds, bodies and souls. This can be achieved by trying something new; engaging in activities, including socialization; being creative, through writing, drawing or sculpting; identifying and cultivating new strengths and talents; or helping others through everyday acts of kindness.
Rabbi Marmorstein also recommends support groups and/or professional counseling or therapy, when appropriate.
?Living at a senior campus like The Allendale Community allows the elderly to pursue interests they may not have had time for in pre-retirement, due to work-related obligations or the responsibilities of raising a family,? he added. ?The different phases of retirement are an ideal opportunity to celebrate new pursuits.?
In his role as chaplain with the HUMC Pastoral Care Department, Rabbi Marmorstein provides patients, families and staff of all faiths with spiritual and religious comfort and support. He also serves as the Rabbi of a congregation on the Upper West Side in Manhattan.
The ?Coping with Loss and Grief? seminar is part of an on-going free educational series offered by The Allendale Community in partnership with HUMC?s Senior Platinum Plus Program, the acute-care hospital?s comprehensive wellness concierge service.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Fourteen years after his classic sitcom ended, Jerry Seinfeld is returning to Thursday nights in New York City.
He won't appear on primetime television, however. From October 4 to November 8, Seinfeld will perform a full stand-up comedy show in a different theater in the city's five boroughs nearly every Thursday, the night his hit show "Seinfeld" aired on NBC from 1990 to 1998.
Seinfeld hasn't performed a full show in the Big Apple since 1998, when he sold out the Broadhurst Theater on Broadway shortly after his sitcom ended.
"I was born in Brooklyn, went to school in Queens and started out as a comedian in Manhattan. I feel like New York City taught me how to be funny. I'm so excited to perform a special series of shows for my beloved home town," Seinfeld said in a press release on Wednesday.
